Summary:

• Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements for system design

• Collaborate with engineering groups to define product environment

• Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods, FEM simulations, and other tools

• Create test plans, support execution, and analyze results to ensure systems meet requirements

• Define and document certification and test results for customers and regulatory agencies

• Investigate in-service product failures and recommend improvements

• Work under general direction; non-managerial role with regular attendance

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry

• 5+ years of related experience or equivalent (PhD + 3 years, Master's + 3 years)

• Classical Hand Analysis

• Primary Structure & FEM Experience

• Aircraft Stress/Structural Analysis

• Integrated Design & Layout Development

Preferred Skills:

• Primary Aircraft Structure Experience

• Aerospace Experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Experience with Commercial Derivatives (737, 747, 757, 777)

• ABET accreditation preferred but not required
