Summary:

• Lead the development, integration, and documentation of structural requirements for system design.

• Coordinate with engineering teams to define the product's environment.

• Verify structural integrity using analytical methods, FEM models, and simulations throughout the product lifecycle.

• Lead test plan development, support execution, and analyze results to ensure systems meet requirements.

• Define and document certification results for validation by customers and regulatory agencies.

• Investigate product failures and drive improvements.

• Develop tools and processes to enhance development efficiency.

• Work under minimal direction in a non-managerial role, requiring regular attendance.

Required Skills:

• Typically acquired through a Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or related fields, with 9+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., PhD + 4 years, Master's + 7 years).

• Classical Hand Analysis

• Primary Structure

• FEM experience

• Aircraft stress/structural analysis

• Integrated design and layout development

Desired Skills:

• Primary Aircraft Structure experience

• Aerospace experience

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with Commercial Derivatives (737, 747, 757, 777)

• ABET accreditation is preferred.
