Our Cary, NC office is looking for a mid-level Structural Engineer, with a strong desire to work and learn in a collaborative environment. This role will be working directly with the Structural Department Manager and Senior Engineers to support the internal teams on projects of all scales, from existing structure renovations to new buildings and expansions. This is a full-time role, located in Cary, NC. Key Responsibilities Assist with the design and planning process for multi-faceted production facilities Production and coordination of structural construction documents under the direction of the Structural Department Manager and Senior Engineers Assist the Structural Department by taking responsibility for portions of the project design work, including leading design development, contract document preparation, and construction administration services for the project team Work with clients, contractors, and local building officials under the direction of the Structural Department Manager to coordinate construction issues Research building materials and incorporate into project specifications Mentor junior designers in computer aided drawing, code research, product research, and construction document creation, drawing and detailing, as required Support the Structural team on projects by effectively multi-tasking, delegating as required, and collaborating in a team environment Skills & Qualifications Bachelors/Master of Civil Engineering degree with 4-6 years of structural design experience PE registration Excellent verbal and written communications skills Must have strong knowledge and experience with Structural Design software, Revit, and AutoCAD Be design-oriented with a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn and think outside the box Understanding of building codes for structural design Must be well organized, engaged, flexible, and self-motivated Maintain a professional and productive relationship with clients and co-workers Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, Deltek Vision or equivalent; Office 365 The Company DPS Group is a global EPCM firm offering full-service solutions within the Life Sciences (pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical technology) and Advanced Technology (semiconductor, data center, and solar) industries.
