Company is currently looking to hire a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or Licensed Structural Engineer for a full-time position. Company is a design/build contractor that specializes in the engineering and construction of deep foundations, tiebacks, slope stabilization, sink hole remediation, framing repairs, load bearing wall removals and other structural repairs. Products installed by Company typically include piers (helical and push), micro piles, drilled and grouted anchors, tendon anchors, compaction grouting, poly foam, concrete, shotcrete, steel, and wood. Job Duties: You will prepare the following kinds of deliverables.
· Field inspections with inspection reports
· Diagnose & recommend repairs for structural and settlement problems
· Calculations
· Drawings (by drafters or self-prepared)
· Shop submittals
· As-built inspection letters
Ideal Candidate will have the following.
· PE/SE License in at least one of the southeast states with ability to obtain/reciprocity to GA. PE.
· Graduated with a BS in Civil engineering specializing in structures
· 4+ Years Engineer in training experience
· Proficient with building and design codes (IBC, IRC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, etc.)
· Performed multiple field inspections to diagnose existing structural issues
· AutoCAD experience
· Some construction experience is a plus
· A clean driving record
