Responsibilities:• Develop layouts and designs using hand sketches, Bluebeam, and Bentley software.• Apply engineering judgment, experience, and creative problem-solving.• Perform structural design and detailing efficiently using Bentley software or manual calculations and sketches, ensuring timely delivery.• Communicate directly with clients to confirm project conditions and requirements, including attending meetings on-site. • Collaborate effectively within multi-disciplinary teams, taking on leadership or supportive roles as needed to achieve project objectives.• Review and approve project scopes, budgets, and schedules.• Prepare proposals for professional engineering services.• Conduct thorough reviews of final project documents to ensure quality and compliance with standards.• Regularly update project notes, tasks, and time entries in QuickBase in a timely and accurate manner.• Other duties as assigned. Qualifications:• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field required. • 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry. • Experience using Bentley programs desired. • Knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, and QuickBase. • Strong communication and written skills.• Ability to travel to job sites in the area.
