Structural Engineer Project Manager (Bridge)

STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER (BRIDGE) HEB Engineers is currently seeking a highly motivated Bridge Project Manager to join our Structural Engineering Team. This full-time position involves managing bridge projects for public and private clients. Project Management experience preferred. Education : BSCE with structural concentration required; MSCE preferred. Licensure : PE required; NH PE preferred or ability to obtain within 3 months. Software : Proficiency with Microsoft Office; advanced knowledge of AutoCAD required; MicroStation experience is a plus. Requirements : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment; interact effectively with team members, clients, and the public. Ability to perform complex design calculations and coordinate the completion of reports, plans, estimates, and specifications for bridge projects. Experience with steel, reinforced concrete, timber and prestressed concrete design, and construction engineering required. Previous experience with NHDOT is a plus. Active participation in professional organization(s) is preferred. Responsibilities Include : Develop projects’ scope, fee, and schedule and monitor the progress throughout the project. Manage projects and lead project team to complete the project on schedule and within budget. Prepare complex calculations, plans, and schedules. Resolve conflicting design requirements and coordination requirements. Review technical content of all work performed under direct supervision. Coordinate design work with junior staff and CADD Technicians. Oversee the development of Permitting, Construction, and Bidding documents.
