STRUCTURAL ENGINEER PROJECT MANAGER

SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER Rapidly growing Scottsdale structural engineering firm has immediate opening for a Senior Structural Engineer with opportunities to advance to project manager and firm leadership. Minimum Qualifications 5 years’ experience as an Arizona P.E./S.E. California P.E. license preferred Experience with Ram, Enercalc, Excel, AutoCad, Revit, MS Office Suite, etc Demonstrated success meeting deadlines with minimum supervision Experience with all phases of a project including proposals, construction documents, construction administration, structural special inspections. Some experience with marketing, business development and project management Demonstrated ability to work as a team, communicate professionally in stressful environments, and work several projects simultaneously Proven commitment to treating people with respect. Ability to pass background check. Responsibilities Structural design for new construction and tenant improvements including wood, concrete, masonry, steel construction, etc. Quality assurance regarding technical and clerical staff Structural investigations of existing buildings Design and coordination of all aspects of the contract documents including foundations, floors, roofs, repairs, etc. Application of technical support, daily review of field reports, monitoring job progress, performance, and budgetary considerations. Attending project site meetings and assisting with the resolution of both technical and administrative problems.
