Full time structural engineer. Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers with the design and review of structures from concept through construction. Other responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, developing proposals, and mentoring younger engineers. Requirements Minimum Qualifications 8 years of work experience US SE License (Any state is acceptable) 4 years of experience with Finite Element Analysis Experience Designing Complex Steel Structures Familiar with ASCE 7 or AASHTO Preferred Qualifications Master of Science, Master of Engineering, or PhD in Civil/Structural Engineering US Structural SE License in Washington SAP2000 Experience; Experience with Non-Linear Time History FEA Analysis Experience with Cranes, Marine Structures, and/or Offshore Structures Familiarity with CMAA 70, ASCE 61, AIST, NAVFAC P-307, UFC 4-152-01, and/or FEM 1.001 standards and Codes Knowledge of IEBC Code Compensation Casper, Phillips & Associates is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position. This range is based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, soft skills, networking, and intangible skills. Casper, Phillips & Associates reserves the right to offer a successful candidate more or less compensation than the posted range depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
