About the Opportunity We are seeking a Structural Engineer with a strong background in water and wastewater infrastructure to support the design and delivery of water infrastructure projects. This role focuses on structural systems for facilities such as wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related infrastructure. This is an opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment, partnering closely with civil, mechanical, and process engineers to deliver resilient, efficient, and constructible solutions for municipal and regional clients. Your Role on the Team Lead and support structural design for water and wastewater facilities, including: Treatment plant structures Pump stations and lift stations Equipment support structures and foundations Concrete and steel structural systems Perform structural analysis and design in accordance with applicable codes and standards (ACI, AISC, ASCE, etc.) Develop construction documents, including plans, specifications, and calculations Coordinate closely with internal multidisciplinary teams and external partners Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior staff Support project management tasks, including scope, schedule, and budget tracking Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations Conduct site visits and support construction‑phase services, including responding to RFIs and reviewing submittals What You Bring to the Team Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Washington (or ability to obtain quickly). SE preferred. 12+ years of relevant structural engineering experience in a consulting environment. Experience with seismic design and retrofit, particularly in the Pacific Northwest.
