In addition, we foster a work environment of respect, trust, equality, teamwork, innovation, and growth.Job DescriptionWe are seeking full-time Structural Steel Welders to join our 2nd Shift. Responsibilities include:Perform welding operations using MIG welding processesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accuratelySet up welding equipment and maintain proper safety protocolsInspect materials, structures, and products to ensure quality standards are metMeasure and cut materials according to specificationsMaintain welding equipment and work areaFollow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective equipmentThese positions do include overtime; our second shift schedule is Monday through Friday 5pm to 4:30am, and Saturday 5pm to 10pm.We do offer a $2 per hour shift differential.QualificationsWe would like to hear from you if you have the following:Able to lift up to 50 poundsSafety consciousHave good attendanceAble to work overtimeHave knowledge of drawing language and symbols (for Fitter position)Are able to use steel hand working toolsPrevious welding experience preferredPass a welders certification testHave the ability to safely operate overhead cranesKnowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpfulKnowledge of oxy/acetylene torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares and levelsAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
