Job Title: Structured Cabling & Network Engineer (Cable Installer / Network Operations Engineer)

Location: Washington Navy Yard, DC - Onsite

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Requirements:

• Install and maintain structured cabling systems including CAT 6, telephone, coaxial, and fiber optic cables
• Perform vertical and horizontal cable installations to end-user desktops
• Install, terminate, test, and repair fiber optic cables, connectors, and related hardware
• Diagnose and repair signal transmission issues across copper and fiber infrastructure
• Manage, troubleshoot, and maintain supporting network infrastructure equipment
• Utilize cable testing tools, diagnostic equipment, ground power tools, and pressure equipment
• Prepare technical reports and communicate effectively with engineering and management teams
• Analyze, maintain, and support Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems
• Troubleshoot network performance issues and coordinate corrective repairs
• Oversee installation, testing, and evaluation of network equipment and systems
• Ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of network systems in compliance with federal standards
• Execute complex network engineering tasks including design and implementation of integrated networks
• Integrate personnel, hardware, software, and supporting infrastructure into secure network environments
• Support overall network lifecycle management and operational continuity
