The Central Market maintains a high standard for quality and cleanliness in all aspects of our dining experience. We expect all employees to be respectful and courteous to our guests and their coworkers. Student Workers are responsible for keeping their station clean and tidy, and completing required duties.
For dinner and weekend shifts - workers are expected to remain to assist with other areas until all tasks are completed, unless released by a Manager.

The Central Market positions vary and include duties in bakery, food preparation, cooking, cleaning, greeting guests, and office assistant. Some duties for different positions include but are not limited to:

• checker (greeting guests, scanning IDs and completing credit/cash transactions)
• dish room (using dish washers for cleaning and then putting pots, pans, dishes and silverware away)
• food stations (set up, prepare, serve, switch out pans, refill supplies, cook, bake, grill, assemble sandwiches, etc.)
• cafe preparation (prepare food items for Cafe and Fred's and assemble boxed meals for various campus groups)

All positions are expected to keep their assigned area clean and free of clutter.

• Pre-employment paperwork must be on file with the human resources office before employment begins.
