Job Description Job Summary: The Student helps the hiring department with various duties and performs other duties as needed. The student worker will assist the Undergraduate department with a variety of duties, including but not limited to proctoring student exams during exam weeks and maintaining a flexible schedule to support students requiring testing accommodations. Additional responsibilities may include assisting with special projects and performing general administrative tasks as assigned to support daily departmental operations. Responsibilities Proctor student exams during exam weeks Maintain a flexible schedule to support students requiring testing accommodations Assist with special projects Perform general administrative tasks to support daily departmental operations Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum one year of experience preferred. Must be a current Loma Linda University student. Required Skills Able to read, write and speak with professional quality. Use computer and software programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Operate and troubleshoot basic office equipment. Relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others. Provide leadership and enforce policies consistently to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, rules, and laws. Work calmly, respond courteously under pressure. Lead, supervise, teach, and collaborate; accept direction. Communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone. Think critically, work independently, perform basic math and statistical functions. Manage multiple assignments, compose written material, work well under pressure, problem solve, organize and prioritize workload. Pay close attention to detail. Distinguish colors as necessary; hear and identify sounds; see adequately to read computer screens and documents.
