Position: Student Pastor

Location: Changepoint Church, Alaska

Changepoint Church, is a vibrant multi-site community in Alaska, and is seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Student Pastor. This position involves working with middle, high school, and college students, fostering spiritual growth, and creating a welcoming and engaging environment for our youth community.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee 4-5 full time and part time positions that make up the student ministry team (middle school director, worship director, media director, coffee shop manager, and interns)

• Disciple and train a team of 60 volunteer leaders.

• Serve on the Department Leader team and represent student ministry.

• Develop and implement relevant and impactful youth programs, events, and activities.

• Lead and facilitate engaging youth group meetings and discussions.

• Build positive relationships with students, providing mentorship and guidance.

• Collaborate with other church staff to integrate students into the broader church community.

• Coordinate and oversee outreach initiatives to connect with students outside the church.

• Oversee a coffee shop ministry.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years serving in ministry.

• Experience leading a team of staff and volunteers.

• Bachelor's degree in theology, ministry, or a related field (preferred).

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for guiding young people in their spiritual journey.

• Strong in communication, teamwork, speaking skills
