Student Safety Officer – Perfect for Criminal Justice / Social Work / Education Graduates

Looking for real‐world experience working with youth, conflict resolution, and school environments? Join us as a Student Safety Officer in local K‐12 schools. You’ll gain hands-on experience that aligns with degrees in Criminal Justice, Social Work, Psychology, Education, and related fields.

Skills and abilities:

• Able to communicate calmly with teenagers (not escalate).
• Comfortable working in a school culture (teachers, admin, parents).
• Reliable and stable (no no‐shows; consistent presence).
• Willing to use verbal de‐escalation first, not physical force.

What you’ll do

• Support a safe learning environment by monitoring hallways and common areas
• Help de‐escalate student conflicts under the guidance of experienced supervisors
• Work closely with school administrators and counselors
• Document incidents and contribute to school safety planning
