Job Summary
This position exists to maintain the inventory, organization and documentation of safe deposit box contents.
Some of the responsibilities include the following:
- Process safe deposit box contents preparing an inventory of items received and further documenting the disposition of various items.
- Review financial documents and tangible items contained in the boxes and assist in the determination as to their potential value.
- Enter data into operating software and various templates to provide an accurate inventory listing and audit trail.
- Participate in the reconciliation of proceeds as tangible items are converted to cash.
- Organize contents within established procedures to prepare the items for future auction.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants must be a student in a college/university, trade or technical school, if a student is enrolled at credit-granting institution they must carry at least six semester (nine quarter) credits. If enrolled at a non-credit granting institution or one that only offers one credit per class, a student must be taking two or more classes per semester/quarter. Any less credits (class) load shall be treated as a semester off. Graduate students must be enrolled in at least two courses or making progress on dissertation. You will be asked to complete an Education Verification Form prior to appointment.
- Skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Data entry experience
- Organizational skills
- Communication and human relations sufficient to interact effectively with supervisory staff, co-workers, and the public.
Physical Requirements
Move and/or transport items weighing up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
Additional Requirements
