Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: Sub Arc Welder - Night and Day Shift Availability Location: Beasley, TX, United States, 77417 Chart Industries in Beasley, TX is looking for experienced welders for our Header manufacturing line. This position requires the ability to work overtime and pass 2 weld tests - a 6G Tig test on carbon steel 2” pipe and a 2G weld test. Chart’s welders play a key role in the manufacturing process of producing Air Cooled Heat Exchangers. Sub Arc Welder Must be able to pass a Sub Arc Welding or SAW test. This role is responsible for performing Sub Arc Welding on the internal/external joints and end plates of a Header box. Night Shift - 4 Day Shift - 1 What Will You Do? Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques Ability to lay-out, burn holes, fit and weld nozzles Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness Performs a variety of tasks Promotes and supports safety and production Makes quality visual U.T. and x-ray welds Your Physical Work Environment Will Require… WORKING CONDITIONS: Must be able to work inside and outside. Regular exposure to welding debris, heat, cold, dark and bright environments.
