Position Details Position Type: Substitutes / Substitute Teacher Date Posted: 6/23/2022 Location: Illini Bluffs Administrative Office Description Substitute Teacher Current rate of pay Regular substitute = $140 per day Permanent substitute = $165 per day Long-term substitute = $140 per day for days 1-10 then $165 per day for days 11+ Requirements Must hold a bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution of higher education. License is valid for substitute teaching in all grades of the public school, Pre‑K to Grade 12. NOTE: Sub licenses are valid for 5 years and may be renewed with payment of registration fees. If you hold a valid Professional Educator License or Educator License with stipulations that require a bachelor's degree for issuance, you are qualified to be a substitute teacher.
