Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction and support to students in accordance with lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
  • Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment.
  • Manage student behavior and ensure compliance with school policies.
  • Assess and record student progress and participation.
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents about classroom activities and student performance.
  • Be prepared to teach various subjects and grade levels as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma is required; Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
  • Teaching certification or license is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong commitment to the mission and values of a Christ-centered education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and engage students effectively.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to adapt to various classroom environments.
  • Previous teaching or mentoring experience is preferred but not required.
