Full job description
Implement a focused, individualized instructional program to enrolled students to provide a bridge to instruction this fall. Use research and evidence-based targeted instruction to identify individual student skill deficits in both specific content areas and general study skills and habits, to identify and remediate learning loss resulting from the educational disruption caused by the pandemic as well strengthen and enrich core academic skills for future success.
Duties include but are not limited to small group instruction, skill development, effective student feedback through use of rubric development and ongoing communication, recordkeeping, and effective communication with all stakeholders.
Seeking one or more NYS certified teachers from the following content areas:
- ELA: certification/extension in English, Literacy, Reading
- Math: certification/extension in Math 7-12
- Social Studies: certification/extension in Social Studies 7-12
- Science: General Science 5-9, Earth Science 5-9 and/or 7-12, Biology 5-9 and/or 7-12, Chemistry 7-12
- Special Education: certification in Special Education 7-12
Program Hours: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM
Rate of Pay = $43.60/hr
Must have fingerprint clearance through NYS Education Department
