As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated General Contractor - Construction Superintendent to join our team.

Position Overview: As the General Contractor - Construction Superintendent, you will serve as a key leader on our construction projects. You will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, a deep understanding of construction processes, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to all on-site construction personnel, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Coordinate and manage the construction schedule, ensuring timely completion of project milestones.

Monitor and enforce safety protocols to create a safe work environment for all workers and visitors.

Review project plans, specifications, and blueprints, and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations.

Proactively identify and address construction issues and challenges, implementing effective solutions.

Collaborate with project managers to track progress and report project status regularly.

Manage project budgets and expenses, approving subcontractor invoices and change orders.

Conduct regular site inspections to assess workmanship and quality, maintaining the highest standards.

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating and supporting the construction team.

Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, and local authorities.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Contractor or Construction Superintendent, with at least [X] years of experience managing diverse construction projects.
Extensive knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead by example.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make well-informed decisions under pressure.

Familiarity with construction software and project management tools.

Thorough understanding of local building codes, safety regulations, and compliance standards.

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience will also be considered.
