Strong grammar, spelling, and punctuation skills (both written and oral) along with mathematical skills necessary. Must be neat, well‑groomed, and professional. Duties Serve as the District’s Point of Contact (POC) and lead for Synergy Student Information System (SIS) including state reporting. Assist with technology inquiries and help desk tickets regarding Synergy. Prepare/submit State of Michigan electronic pupil accounting reports using Michigan Student Data System (MSDS). Maintain records of District Board of Education policies. Maintain Schools of Choice/Non‑Resident student information. Process residency affidavits. Process student release letters. Assist the Superintendent’s Office with Board of Education communications and meetings. Oversee documenting and reporting of mileage for the Superintendent and members of the Board of Education. Assist Superintendent’s Office with Child Accounting procedures and reports. Receive incoming calls, take accurate messages and assist with mail for the Superintendent’s Office. Provide administrative support to the Director of Public Information, Community Outreach and Culture, School Safety Liaison. Assist the Communications Office with website revisions, postings, and emergency notifications. Assist the Communications Office with District events (Volunteer Dinner, Top Senior Luncheon, ABC Luncheons, etc.). Assist the Communications Office with generating and distributing staff badges. Assist the Communications Office with creating and ordering business cards for staff. Reconcile credit card statements. The employee shall remain free of any alcohol or non‑prescribed controlled substance in the workplace throughout his/her employment in the District. Maintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance. Perform other duties as assigned. Salary Minimum $23.50 per hour with a salary scale that includes step increases.
