Ferrous Processing and Trading, a business of Cleveland-Cliffs Steel, has an immediate opportunity for a Supervisor at the Pontiac, MI operation. The Supervisor is responsible for assisting in managing and coordinating the activities of employees and administering policies and procedures that will contribute to the site's operations running efficiently. Summary of Responsibilities Assigns and schedules daily tasks and workloads to meet production goals. Ensures all materials, equipment, and tools are available and in working order. Responsible for helping keep the scrapyard, tools, and supplies organized. Assists in creating production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements for completion of job assignments. Create and maintain a safe work environment. Assists in establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet production schedules. Maintains time and production records. Works with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma/GED. Previous supervisor experience. Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel, Outlook, Word). Excellent oral and written communication skills. Problem‑solving, analytical, critical thinking, and decision‑making. Collaborative; builds and works with teams. Ability to coach and mentor.
