Supervisory Financial Management AnalystYou will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of STATION GUAM at NAVAL COMP TELCOM AREA WESTPAC.You will provide the Commanding Officer, Executive Officer, Department Heads and Supervisors with objectively based information for making decisions on financial management aspects of the agencies requirements.You will identify resource inequities affecting activity's ability to financially meet operational requirements, monitor funding used compared to availability of funds and projected needs.You will verify accuracy and completeness of accounting data in preparation for computer input.You will input, record, and maintain financial transactions pertaining to program and fund control for all fiscal years.You will review various cost reports, status of appropriated funds, and other financial statements that represent the accounting records within current systems of record.You will plan work to be accomplished, approve employees leave, support the development of military and civilian personnel, set and evaluate performance, handle minor disciplinary matters.Conditions of EmploymentMust be a US Citizen.Must be determined suitable for federal employment.Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.New employees to the Department of the Navy will be required to successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by experience in the private or public sector overseeing, performing, and advising on various phases of budget administration to include; analysis and formulation of budget and cost estimates in support of plans, programs, and activities; AND development, determination, and interpretation of policies and practices.This position is within the Work Category Supervision & Management at Work Level Senior/III, Series and Grade GG-0501-12.
