Responsibilities You will establish priorities, integrate Command-wide Tactical Information Technology and be the focal point and representative on all Command Tactical Information Technology activities. You will develop policy and procedural guidelines for the Headquarters, Echelon II, III and IV commands worldwide. You will lead both short-term and long-range planning efforts pertaining to the Command's Tactical Information Technology resources. You will direct actions to obtain resources and material to support the Information Technology systems for the entire Naval Special Warfare force worldwide: prepares submissions for long-range resource planning. You will direct and oversee the development of systems that provide immediate processing alternatives in the event of system, LAN or WAN failure. You will maintain professional contacts with specialists in the areas of Information Technology, RF communications, and associated systems. Conditions of Employment Must be a U.S. Citizen. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing. The incumbent is subject to random Counterintelligence Polygraph examinations upon assignment to the position. You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel‑related purchases. This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time. Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101. Call‑back and emergency overtime may be required. Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS‑13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Leading or managing Command, Control, Communication, Computers and Intelligence Department with responsibilities that span a wide range of functional disciplines; and program management, strategic planning, existing business processes, process improvement initiatives, metrics analysis, or budget execution for a Special Operations Command. In addition to the above listed qualifications, your experience must also reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
