Duties

This position is located under the Office of Field Operations, Phoenix Field Division, Phoenix IV (CGIC), located in Phoenix, Arizona.


The incumbent of this position exercises full supervisory responsibilities and authority over non-supervisory Crime Gun Intelligence Center (CGIC) employees who conduct all source intelligence analyses to support the field division's criminal investigations and industry operations, by producing actionable strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence products and other analytical services.
This position also serves as the primary division intelligence subject matter expert.
The incumbent acts as the division's intelligence liaison to other internal and external partners.


Major duties include:
Serves as liaison with other law enforcement agency, directorates, working groups and task force intelligence leaders and professionals, and the U.
S.
intelligence community as the primary division intelligence subject matter expert.

Manages intelligence efforts, investigations, strategies and technologies used to gather, process, exploit, analyze and evaluate intelligence information.

Ensures CGIC personnel properly disseminate, disclose, or release intelligence reports, bulletins, and assessments through the proper systems and processes.

Coordinates with division supervisors, and National Response Team (NRT) and Special Response Team (SRT) leaders to ensure the utilization of the CGIC to support critical incidents and enforcement actions.


Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progresses.
