Geospatial Intelligence Data And Scene Visualization Database Production ManagerProvides management, technical and administrative control over all aspects of USSOCOM's SOFPREP Branch in the development of Geospatial-Intelligence data and scene visualization database production and serves as the senior USSOCOM technical expert on all matters related to GEOINT data and scene visualization database production in support of SOF MTP-Systems and activities. Exercises authority and control over a work force of military, Department of Defense (DoD) civilian and contractor support personnel.Exercises supervisory intelligence operations for USSOCOM's SOFPREP Branch and implements detailed schedules for all scene visualization database generation activities for DBGFs at two geographically separate locations in accordance with USSOCOM stated priorities. Oversees the SOFPREP Branch (J3-T&E-S) with accurate evaluations and advises and provides counsel to employees regarding policies, procedures, and directives. Selects or recommends selection of candidates for vacancies, promotions, details, and reassignment in consideration of skills, qualifications, and mission requirements.Directs all SOFPREP activities to request original source GEOINT products, civil and National imagery, and threat parametric/electronic combat data to include intelligence collection management actions performed in accordance with DIA and USSOCOM regulations/procedures. Directs and rigorously monitors stated activities them to ensure schedules are maintained.Overall responsibility for the purchase, maintenance schedules, and accountability of over 25 million dollars of equipment and an operating budget of over 8 million dollars. Monitors the status of all equipment, ensures required maintenance and lifecycle replacement program is performed. Develops procedures for a workaround plan should equipment failure limit scene visualization database crisis response capability.Incumbent is responsible to ensure the core classified national information protection security disciplines of information are fully covered from a policy and programmatic view point to ensure overall information protection requirements meet mission requirements. Analyzes documents and ensures that document sensitivity is protected from unauthorized users.Requirements:U.S. Citizenship RequiredAll new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations.
