Opportunity We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Hart region seeking Supplier Quality Engineers. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement supplier quality assurance programs and procedures. Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. Review and approve supplier quality documentation, including First Article Inspections (FAI) and process control plans. Manage incoming material inspection processes and ensure conformity to requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers to enhance product quality and reduce defects. Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities to ensure supplier readiness and quality. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in supplier quality assurance, auditing, and qualification within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949) and their application to supplier processes. Experience with statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis (RCA) tools (e.g., 8D, Ishikawa diagrams), and problem‑solving methodologies. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for effective supplier collaboration and issue resolution. Familiarity with manufacturing processes, materials, and common quality control techniques relevant to the industry.
