The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Holt seeking Supplier Quality Engineers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality assurance plans and procedures for suppliers. Conduct supplier audits to assess their quality systems and compliance with standards. Monitor supplier performance metrics and identify areas for improvement. Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues and deviations. Collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions. Review and approve supplier documentation, including PPAPs and control plans. Qualify new suppliers and ensure they meet manufacturing and quality requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives with key suppliers. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or equivalent practical experience. Proven experience in supplier quality management, auditing, and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949) and relevant industry standards. Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies such as PPAP, FMEA, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, and GD&T. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers. Experience with supplier selection, qualification, and performance monitoring. Bonus Qualifications - Experience with statistical process control (SPC) software and advanced data analysis techniques. - Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies. - Knowledge of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IATF 16949) relevant to the specific industry. - Certification in quality auditing (e.g., ASQ CQE, ASQ CQA). - Experience with supplier development programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
