Role: Supplier Quality Engineer - Medical Devices

Location: Temecula, CA - 92591

Duration: 12 Months

Job Description:

• Supplier Quality Engineer.
• Address material quality issues from suppliers (flex in dimensions, surface finish). Investigate these issues and solve them.
• Exp in Root Cause Analysis.
• CAPAs experience is required
• Certification of being an Investigator is required. If they already have them then it is a big plus, if not they must get it by attending the training that is available
• at the site.
• Supplier change notices; when the supplier is changing in their manufacturing processes/material. Work with them on validation tasks and ensure that the changed component will work in our manufacturing process.
• Problem-solving, Engineering background.
• Project management skills, time management, and People's skills.
• Med device background is a big plus and given preference. Other industries would be biotech backgrounds.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree required (Engineering degree)
• 3 to 5 years of experience.
• May consider 2 years as well if they have core experience in Investigations, and CAPAs and are from the medical device industry.
