Overview As a Supplier Scheduler with Adient, you will work directly with overseas suppliers, production, materials, and inventory management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the production schedule at multiple plants. You will manage inventory and coordinate international shipments to align material flow with production schedules and inventory goals. This role requires strong communication and follow up with global suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials. Core Responsibilities First-line contact with both plants and international suppliers for all supply-related issues Manage day to day interaction and relationships with overseas suppliers Review and analyze weekly MRP schedules Monitor international shipments in transit, including tracking and escalation Maintain weekly supplier releases Understand and manage risks to minimize supply interruptions at plants Prioritize and react with urgency to possible impacts on production Additional Responsibilities Maintain sufficient inventory levels for all production-related components Maintain and monitor planning parameters to ensure system accuracy Review KPIs and work to achieve team goals Communicate and collaborate with other departments including materials management, quality, engineering, launch, program management, logistics, etc. Any additional duties as assigned and deemed necessary by the team leads Will use QAD/MFG Pro and/or Demand Driven Tech - Intuiflow Basic Qualifications Bachelor\'s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field 3-5 years of experience in materials and/or supply chain roles Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in materials planning, ideally in the automotive or manufacturing environment Experience working with international or overseas suppliers Strong understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies Knowledge of supplier relationship management Strong Excel skills Knowledge and experience using MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems or similar Experience with QAD/MFG Pro and/or Demand Driven Tech - Intuiflow PRIMARY LOCATION Central Tech Unit Plymouth MI #J-18808-Ljbffr
