Location: Grovetown, GA 30813
Shift: 1ST SHIFT (6am - 2:30pm or 7am - 3:30pm) with overtime opportunity
Role Overview
• Manage day-to-day supplier performance and relationships
• Support factory operations by ensuring material availability
• Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality and delivery
• Perform supply planning activities within defined systems and processes
Major Purpose
• Perform duties of a Supply Management Planner II
• Manage relationships with suppliers for assigned commodities
• Support factory operations through supplier coordination and planning
• Improve supplier delivery performance and quality
Major Duties
• Execute supply chain planning activities within a defined framework
• Maintain daily contact with critical suppliers
• Respond to supplier incidents and analyze supplier performance
• Collect market data on cost drivers, innovations, and alternative suppliers
• Review existing operations and identify improvement opportunities
• Gather contract performance data for negotiations or renewals
• Manage inventory levels for factory operations
• Support stakeholder engagement through meetings and coordination
• Participate in professional development and industry learning
Key Responsibilities
• Communicate daily with suppliers regarding delivery schedules
• Manage factory Hot Part Requests and aged ASNs
• Address goods receipt compliance issues
• Develop supplier delinquency recovery plans
• Maintain supplier relationships with Supply Management Specialists
• Monitor supplier performance and define corrective actions
• Negotiate short-term solutions with suppliers when needed
• Drive supplier performance improvements using Achieving Excellence criteria
• Resolve shipping and receiving issues to support supplier payments
• Gather and analyze data to ensure operational objectives are met
• Schedule and expedite purchased materials for production plans
• Recommend premium logistics solutions when required
• Support logistics teams, operations teams, and suppliers with issue resolution

Education
• Post-Secondary Non-Tertiary Education
• Degree in Business, Supply Management, Engineering, Technology, or related field
OR
• Equivalent work experience
Work Experience
• Basic experience with office or operational systems (4–6 months)
• Very limited general experience required (0–3 months)
Preferred Qualifications
• Previous supply management or planning experience in manufacturing
• Cross-functional experience in logistics, operations, or material flow
• SAP system knowledge
• Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or SharePoint
