SUPPORT ENGINEER - ST. TRUIDEN (BELGIUM) - PERMANENT POSITIONWe are seeking a Support Engineer to play a key role in supporting the sales function through technical expertise, structured analysis, and effective coordination. This position is focused on enabling the successful delivery of client proposals by ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and alignment with customer requirements.Working closely with sales and cross-functional teams, the role involves translating technical requirements into practical solutions, preparing detailed quotations, and supporting bid development from initial concept through to submission. The successful candidate will contribute to improving internal processes, maintaining high-quality documentation, and ensuring that all activities are delivered in line with business objectives and timelines.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who enjoys combining technical problem-solving with commercial awareness, and who thrives in a collaborative, deadline-driven environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop optimised technical layouts and solutions aligned with project specifications and cost considerationsPerform calculations and prepare accurate, detailed quotations and technical documentationPrioritise and manage workload to meet proposal deadlines in coordination with sales stakeholdersProvide technical support for client presentations and internal discussionsMonitor market trends, product developments, and customer requirementsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure bid feasibility, compliance, and timely inputSupport the development of competitive bid strategies and pricing modelsTrack and follow up on proposal progress with relevant stakeholdersMaintain accurate project data, documentation, and reporting within internal systemsContribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and standard practicesDeliver training and share knowledge with internal teams where requiredRequirementsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent practical experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under time constraintsGood commercial awareness and the ability to balance technical and business considerationsStrong communication and collaboration skills, with proficiency in EnglishProactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and develop professionallyExperience with AutoCAD or similar design toolsProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly ExcelThe Offer:A permanent, full-time employment contractA salary & benefits package commensurate with experiencePlease send over your CV to or call me on +32 (0) 3 318 00 74.
