Our mission is to promote growth, independence, and a high quality of life for the individuals we serve.**Job Summary:**We are currently seeking a **Support Professional** to provide direct care, academic support, and positive engagement for students throughout school and program settings. This year-round position supports students during classroom hours Monday–Friday and transitions to program support during non-school days (such as spring/winter breaks and early release days). The Support Professional plays a critical role in promoting student safety, participation, skill-building, and overall development across school, residential, and community settings.**Key Responsibilities:****Program & Student Life Support*** Supervise and engage students in living, activity, and community settings* Support daily living skills including hygiene, recreation, budgeting, and social skills* Model and reinforce positive behavior in accordance with each student’s ITP and IEP* Complete required documentation (incident reports, data sheets, shift summaries, etc.)* Promote health and safety by enforcing site procedures and maintaining a clean environment.**Classroom Support*** Assist classroom teachers with instructional and behavioral support* Follow lesson plans and IEP accommodations/modifications as directed* Use assistive and adaptive devices to enhance student learning* Collect and document academic and behavioral data* Provide one-on-one or small group support to foster academic and social development* Help implement virtual learning when applicable**Team Collaboration & Professional Conduct*** Communicate effectively with education, clinical, and program staff* Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development* Use safe and approved de-escalation techniques when necessary* Uphold MyPath's values through respectful, proactive, and collaborative conduct**Schedule*** Monday through Friday 6/7:00am – 2/3:00pm and rotating weekends.* Program support coverage before/after school, on non-school days and early release days.* Flexibility to work in different classrooms based on daily scheduling needs**Comprehensive Employee Benefits Package**At **Genesee Lake School**, a MyPath Company, we are committed to supporting our employees' well-being, financial security, and professional growth.
