We are seeking a motivated and organized individual to support and streamline our repair operations within the shop. This role focuses on improving efficiency and economy throughout daily tasks while maintaining high standards of safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will bring hands‑on mechanical experience, basic parts knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist in organizing and productionizing shop repair workflows for improved efficiency Perform tire changes on rims and other basic mechanical tasks as needed Handle part ordering, tracking, and shipping with accuracy and timeliness Collaborate closely with the Parts Foreman to learn parts identification and sourcing processes Conduct computer‑based tasks including parts management, data entry, and workflow updates Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment at all times Support inventory control efforts by helping track parts usage and restocking needs Adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple tasks effectively throughout the day Qualifications: General mechanical aptitude and experience in a shop or repair setting Familiarity with vehicle or equipment parts strongly preferred Basic computer skills (data entry, internet searches, inventory systems) Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks Excellent time management and multitasking abilities Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn Commitment to safety procedures and maintaining a clean work area Preferred Experience: Previous work in parts handling, tire service, or equipment repair Experience using shop management software or inventory tools U‑Haul is an equal opportunity employer.
