Technical Support Representative (Level 1)
Troy, NY
Fusco Personnel is actively recruiting for a Technical Support Representative to serve as the first point of contact for customer technical inquiries related to innovative medical technology products. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working with customers, and supporting technology used in healthcare environments.
This is a full-time, temporary position for our client located in Troy, NY.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for customer support inquiries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and connectivity issues
- Document customer interactions, issues, and resolutions accurately within the support system
- Follow established procedures, escalation protocols, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and regulatory guidelines
- Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level II or specialized teams as needed
- Provide clear, professional, and empathetic communication to healthcare professionals and internal partners
- Assist customers with product setup, configuration, and user guidance
- Identify recurring issues and communicate trends to internal teams
- Maintain knowledge of product updates, enhancements, and industry best practices
Qualifications & Experience:
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, computer science, healthcare technology, or related field
- At least one year of experience in technical support, help desk, or customer support; healthcare or medical technology experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of operating systems, networking concepts, and common software applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed procedures and work within regulated environments
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Salary Range:
$20.00/hr
