Specialization Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Summary Medical City Denton is seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Provider to care for pre‑and post‑operative cardiac surgery patients. Responsibilities Manage patients in the CVICU recovering from CABG, valve replacement (including TAVRs), complex aortic reconstruction, LVAD placement, and heart transplantation, as well as those on mechanical circulatory support devices. Cover patient consults and discharges after surgery. Qualifications Experience in CVICU. Knowledge of a variety of mechanical circulatory support devices (intraortic balloon pump, Impella, VV/VA ECMO). Ability to work a flexible full‑time schedule.
