Job Description
Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A healthcare opportunity is available for a registered nurse with expertise in Operating Room Technology (ORT), located in Aurora, CO. This contract role is ideal for professionals skilled in perioperative nursing, particularly with experience in transplant or spine surgeries.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing care in the operating room, supporting surgical teams during transplant or spine procedures.
- Maintain adherence to safety and sterile technique protocols throughout all surgical interventions.
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in night and weekend call rotations as required, delivering consistent and quality care.
- Utilize dual certifications and licensures to comply with regulatory and facility standards.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current and valid DORA licensure.
- National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) certification.
- Proven experience in a surgical setting, preferably involving transplant or spine procedures.
- Strong clinical skills in operating room nursing and patient care.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities, especially under pressure.
Schedule/Hours:
- 12-hour shifts
- Day shifts from 7 AM to 7 PM
- Night and weekend on-call duties
