Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) Certification and minimum 2+ years Surgical Tech / Operating Room Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Join a specialized surgical team providing expert care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This contract opportunity is ideal for Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) with a strong background in orthopedics and multi-specialty OR settings, including trauma and neuro cases.

Location Highlights:
Situated in Burnsville, MN, the facility offers access to a vibrant suburban community with a variety of parks, shopping, and dining options. Burnsville provides convenient access to the Twin Cities metropolitan area while maintaining a welcoming small-town feel.

Role Overview:
This position offers 10-hour shifts with variable start times between 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM, accommodating day and evening coverage. You will collaborate with surgical teams in orthopedic trauma, total joint support, neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular procedures. Flexibility to float within the OR and provide weekend and holiday coverage as needed is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and maintain sterile environments for surgical procedures
  • Assist surgical teams during orthopedic and other specialty cases
  • Utilize EPIC and DaVinci technology to support surgical workflows
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years recent experience as a CST in orthopedics and related specialties
  • Active NBSTSA or NCCT certification required at time of application
  • Proficiency with EPIC, general OR skillsets, and DaVinci technology
  • Experience with orthopedic totals, trauma, neuro, peripheral vascular, and cardiovascular cases preferred
  • Ability to float throughout the OR as needed

Additional Details:

  • No new graduate applicants will be considered
  • Maximum of 7 days Return to Offer (RTO) allowed
  • Weekend and holiday shifts required on an as-needed basis
  • On-call duties are not required

Contract Type:
This is a contract position offering valuable experience with competitive assignments.
