Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of various surgical procedures and resolve procedural challenges efficiently.
• Verify surgical supplies against physician preference cards to ensure accuracy and appropriate billing.
• Assemble, sterilize, and maintain all surgical equipment and instruments required for each procedure.
• Maintain the sterile field rigorously, identifying and addressing any breaks in technique immediately.
• Accurately account for medications, sharps, instruments, and sponges during surgeries following policy guidelines.
• Set up the sterile field promptly with the correct instruments to support timely surgical starts.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Surgical Technologist, preferably in an OR setting.
• Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation.
• Ability to work collaboratively under pressure, anticipating surgical team needs.
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
