Position Title: Surgical Scrub Technician (Allied)

Location: Rochester, NY 14617

Pay Rate: $40/hr

Duration: 13 Weeks Contract

Guaranteed Hours: 40

Shift: 10hr Eve

Description / Comment:

• 3 years' experience minimum
• Monday-Friday days and evenings 10 hr shifts ( 11a-9:30p)
• Call requirement (6 call shift each 8-week time block. 3 weeknights and 3 weekend shifts, Including holidays)
• Must be comfortable with any total joint replacement cases
• Experience in Ortho, Neuro, Robot, GYN, Urology, General and Vascular necessary
• Candidates need to be certified techs and BLS.
• NCCT cert are required to have education verification

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgical teams by providing sterile instrumentation and supplies during surgical procedures.
• Prepare and sterilize operating room (OR) equipment and supplies according to infection control protocols.
• Maintain a sterile field during surgeries by ensuring that all instruments, drapes, and supplies remain sterile.
• Assist surgeons and surgical staff by passing instruments, sponges, and other necessary items during procedures.
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team by preparing for and handling various surgical instruments and supplies.
