Experienced healthcare professionals are needed for a critical role within a Family Birth Center setting, specializing in Operating Room Technology (ORT) and certified Surgical Technology. This contract position requires a dedicated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Location: This opportunity is based in Bonaire, GA, a community known for its warm hospitality, vibrant culture, and access to beautiful outdoor spaces. Bonaire provides a balance of small-town charm and the conveniences of larger metropolitan areas nearby, making it an ideal place to live and work.

Shift Information:

• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• One on-call night shift every two weeks
• Weekend rotation: 6 shifts in a 6-week cycle (50% weekend shifts)
• Holiday coverage: Required to work one shift during major holidays including Thanksgiving or the day after, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, and New Years Eve or New Years Day

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized ORT nursing care and surgical technology support in the Family Birth Center
• Collaborate effectively with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and procedure efficiency
• Float within the Family Birth Center to cover varying needs and maintain workflow continuity
• Participate in SimpliFi Clinical Interviewing as part of the patient care process

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid and current certification in Surgical Technology
• Nursing experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT)
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and manage on-call responsibilities
• Strong communication skills and adaptability within multidisciplinary teams
