- Pay: $29–$37/hr
- $25,000 Sign‑On Bonus
- $10,000 Relocation Bonus

What You’ll Do
Key Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Scrub in on surgical procedures (including minor surgeries) under professional nurse supervision.
- Anticipate surgeon preferences for instruments/materials and respond proactively; keep the nurse updated based on ongoing equipment needs and physician preferences.
- Set up sterile table with instruments, equipment, supplies, and needed medications/solutions.
- Disassemble/reassemble instruments or equipment requiring cleaning (within scope) and prepare instruments for terminal sterilization.
- Monitor supplies/instruments to ensure sterility and support Quality Assurance of patient care.
- Inventory and monitor assigned service supplies; order as needed.
- Develop/implement educational programs and learning aids (in‑services, projects, learning aids, patient care standards).
- Provide input on opportunities to improve policies, procedures, and patient care standards.
What You Bring
Education, Certifications & Licenses
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program preferred.
- CST preferred; if not certified, 4+ years of on‑the‑job training/specific experience may substitute.
- BLS required (current or within 3 months of hire; renewed bi‑annually).
Experience
- Experience documenting in electronic health records.
- Experience required
Knowledge Of
- Anatomy/physiology with appropriate instrumentation, suturing materials, needles, prosthetics, and surgical supplies.
- Wound healing and complications.
- Growth/development across the life cycle and patient care needs.
Skilled In
- Sterile technique and processing.
- Patient positioning.
