GMB is hiring an experienced Survey Crew Chief to lead field crews and ensure accurate, efficient completion of survey projects. This role involves directing small projects, performing computations, and producing survey drawings with minimal supervision. • Manage and organize survey crews for land development, construction, and infrastructure projects
• Perform accurate survey calculations, data collection, and field measurements
• Review project specifications, plan field operations, and ensure compliance
• Mentor and guide team members while maintaining safety and efficiency
• Prepare cost estimates and assist with project management

• Proficiency in surveying techniques, GPS, and total station equipment
• Strong math and analytical skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and construction drawings
• Leadership skills to mentor and delegate tasks to crew members
• Registered Professional Land Surveyor or working toward registration (a plus!)
• 5+ years of surveying experience (or equivalent education + experience)
• A.A. or B.S. in a related technical field preferred
