Job Title: Survey Project Manager
Location: Joliet, IL (Fulltime)

We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to lead and manage construction layout projects and survey crews. This pivotal role will report directly to the Director and play a crucial part in ensuring successful project execution while fostering client relationships and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage multiple construction layout and survey projects from inception to completion.
  • Lead, schedule, and coordinate survey crews to meet project timelines and deliverables.
  • Ensure accurate and timely project execution, maintaining high-quality survey standards.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise for field operations and project planning.
  • Assist in business development efforts and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in land surveying, with a focus on construction layout.
  • Proven experience managing survey projects and leading field crews.
  • PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) certification is a strong plus.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with clients and project teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to mentor and develop junior survey staff.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in client development and business growth strategies.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard software for survey and project management.
