We pride ourselves on providing quality consulting engineering services.

We are seeking an experienced Survey Technician to work out of our Boise, ID office. Our crews work out of town at times depending on project locations, which can vary between urban, rural, mountainous or desert settings. We use state of the art survey equipment including robotic total stations/scanners, Trimble GPS units, UAVs/Drones, and automated bathymetric technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform various tasks on a survey crew in the field for topographic, boundary, ALTA, and construction surveys.

Complete work in a timely and professional manner

Show up on-time and dressed for work

Keep accurate, detailed, and professional notes and sketches related to all phases of survey work

Manage, download, and transfer survey data files and site photos to internal project folders

Read and interpret recorded survey documents, maps, plats and deeds

Read and interpret construction drawings

Maintain a high standard for quality and accuracy of work

Properly use and care for survey equipment and vehicles

Qualifications:

Before you apply, make sure you have:

2+ years of survey related experience

High School Diploma

Familiarity with survey data collection procedures and field survey methods and techniques

Familiarity operating Trimble GPS/VRS, Robotic Total Stations and Data Collectors

Valid driving license and driving record acceptable to our company insurance provider

Must be U.S. Citizen or permanent resident (without sponsorship)
