Our curriculum is based on a nationally recognized program that has proven successful for tens of thousands of children around the country. Over the years we have fine-tuned and evolved our classes to the unique needs of our student body here in Reno, NV. Most importantly, our curriculum focuses on fun and safety.
Our Philospohy
Silver Bear Swim School takes its role in your childs life very seriously. We view our pool and our lessons as extensions of your childs classroom. Starting at 6 months of age, our students will not only discover a love for the water, but they will also learn skills that boost their self-esteem and athleticism outside of the pool.

We are currently accepting applications for swim teachers and part-time emoloyees
Monday through Sunday at our Northwest location
Our teaching positions are perfect for students because we offer a lot of flexibility.
- $14-17 an hour starting pay (Based on expereience)
- All training is paid and competitive swim experience is not required
- Flexible scheduling to accommodate school and other commitments
- This opportunity is perfect for all majors, but may qualify for credit for education, HDFS, and speech pathology majors
Starting compensation is $14.00 - $17.00/hour.
The following qualifications are desired:
Instructors
* Ability to acquire CPR certification within 90 days - (Classes offered on site)
*Experience working with children
