About the Job:

We are seeking a System Administrator for its operation in Three Rivers, Michigan, reporting through the IT Administrator.

Responsibilities:

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in the setup and support of all company hardware along with the software used to support those devices. Backup processing, validation, and disaster recovery activities are also key aspects of this role. The System Administrator plays an important role in securing our network, computers, and devices from intrusion to maintain the highest possible network reliability.

The System Administrator will be responsible for monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing solutions to maintain high uptime and reliability. This position will also perform routine system backups, software updates and patch management in addition to providing technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and assisting with cloud services and virtualization technologies.

Qualifications:

The preferred candidate will have an associate's degree in CIS or equivalent experience. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are crucial for success in this position as the role involves providing technical support to end-users and resolving hardware and software issues in a timely and effective manner. Understanding networking protocols is a must and specific knowledge of Palo Alto, Juniper, Hyper-V, Azure, Office 365 and Veeam is a plus.
