Manage on premises, Azure, and Office 365 resources, communicate with downstream customers regarding maintenance needs and service degradations, and provide desktop support. Requires knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Name Services, Public Key Infrastructure, Distributed File System, network, peering & transit issues, security mechanisms, attack mitigation, router, switch and firewall configuration, troubleshooting, and end-to-end network engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities


Systems Administration

  • Deploy and administer on premises desktops, servers, printers, network devices, and services.
  • Deploy and administer Azure Cloud resources (virtual machines, storage, subnets, gateways, etc).
  • Deploy and administer Office 365 resources (users, mailboxes, sharepoint sites, etc).
  • Deploy and administer Microsoft SQL databases
  • Create and deploy iOS and Android Mobile Device Management profiles.
  • Administer Active Directory Services, Domain Name Services, Public Key Infrastructure, Distributed File System, RADIUS, Mobile Device Management, and Anti-Malware services.
  • Perform after hours the installation and maintenance of security patches, third party. vendor software and hardware, maintenance and support, disk space management, backups and file restoration.
  • Address security vulnerabilities and use tools to assure security, analyze outputs, and recommend corrective action.
  • Develop and enforce resource access permissions matrix and governance policies.


Desktop Support

  • Provide help desk support and resolve issues by consulting with relevant subject matter experts.
  • Assist local and remote users with technology related issues.
  • Assist and train the technology specialists in resolving complex technology related issues.


Other Duties

  • Create and update the IT infrastructure documentation
  • Assist the Director of IT in preparing the equipment upgrade schedule and budget.
  • Travel to other locations as needed.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Microsoft Windows Servers administration experience
  • 3+ years of Microsoft Azure cloud resource administration experience
  • 3+ years of Office 365 resource administration experience
  • 3+ years of MDM administration experience
  • Expert knowledge of Active Directory, Domain Name Services, SQL Server, Public Key Infrastructure, Windows Distributed File System, and RADIUS services.
  • Knowledge of Office 365 Applications in a Windows Active Directory environment
  • Expert knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2012, 2016 and Windows 7, 10
  • Working knowledge of EAP MSCHAPv2, SSTP, and IKEv2 VPN configurations.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel.
  • Must be able to lift 55 pounds (CAD workstations and printers).
  • Must be able to operate power tools and ladders to mount equipment on walls.
  • Excellent client-facing skills
  • Be able to communicate in Spanish is a plus

Required Certifications

CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer or Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert, Microsoft Certified Database Administrator
