TalentFish is casting a line for a System Analyst and Design - Full Stack Developer This is a Direct Hire role that is fully onsite in our client's Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin office.
We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with experience in JavaScript, NodeJS and ReactJS, with strong analytical thinking and solution design. In this role, you will architect and deliver technology solutions that directly impact shop floor productivity, operational excellence, and workflow optimization in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
You will partner deeply with operations, engineering, and shop floor teams to understand challenges, design scalable solutions, and transform complex business problems into intuitive, high-performing applications. What You Bring to the Role (Must Have Experience):
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
5+ years demonstrated experience designing and architecting solutions, not just developing established requests.
5+ years of full-stack development with a strong emphasis on JavaScript, NodeJS, and React.
Internship or bootcamps experience does not apply
Technical Skills
JavaScript, Node.js experience (core skill requirement)
React.js expertise (3+ years' experience)
SQL and NoSQL database expertise
Experience with REST APIs and system integrations
Strong understanding of mobile-responsive design principles
Ability to architect applications with scalability, maintainability, and usability in mind
Professional Experience
Ability to independently design, build, and iterate solutions based on user needs
Experience working directly with end users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
Proven track record of delivering practical, user-friendly applications
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging skills
Personal Attributes
Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
Self-directed, highly analytical, and capable of owning projects end-to-end
Comfortable working directly on the shop floor to understand real-world use cases

What You'll Do (Role Responsibilities):
Solution Architecture & Application Development
Architect and build full-stack web applications that enhance shop floor productivity
Design mobile-responsive tools for real-time data entry, workflow management, and process visibility
Create dashboards, reporting tools, and interfaces that drive operational insights
Ensure architectural integrity, scalability, and maintainability across solutions
Manufacturing Operations Enablement
Partner with operations and engineering teams to identify automation and digitization opportunities
Build solutions for work order management, labor tracking, quality management, and process improvements
Design intuitive, user-centric interfaces tailored to a manufacturing environment
System Integration & Data Management
Integrate applications with ERP, WFM, and other business systems
Ensure accurate, real-time data synchronization across platforms
Implement robust data validation, error handling, and system reliability practices
Support analytics, reporting, and continuous data improvement
Collaboration, Discovery & Continuous Improvement
Work directly with shop floor users to gather requirements and understand workflow challenges
Participate in operational meetings to refine solution needs
Maintain, enhance, and refactor existing applications based on feedback
Provide support for deployment, adoption, and user training of new tools
Compensation Information
The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This role also qualifies for comprehensive benefits such as health insurance, 401(k), and paid time off. TalentFish is committed to pay transparency and equal opportunity.
